So there is this scripton the forum that uses crontab also to schedule the backup sequense however being on a webserver I am more important about my database data than my actual scripts.

My question is what can I do to modify the script with the one-liner mysqlhotcopy:
Code:
$ mysqlhotcopy -u <username> -p <database> /backup/location/

and the other is the mysqldump on a sql:
Code:
$ mysqldump -u admin -p --all-databases > alldb.sql
