Hi valevale,

this is not clear. can you detail more?

why do you need an other shell? how is it supposed to behave?...

I get the impression you mean you want to start a new process in a new terminal instead of a new shell, is that right? because starting a process in a new shell would be:

/bin/sh -c date

then 'date' is run in a new shell

But I think you want something like:
/bin/xterm -e 'date; sleep 5'

(the sleep 5 is only there to keep the xterm on screen long enough for you to see the date :) )

Please explain a bit more what you are trying to accomplish.

Regards, Patsie
