Hi,
Want a bash script that searches for installed sendmail and remove them completely from the system. I want this script to be run anytime my fedora server is rebooted.
example:
rpm -qa | grep sendmail > sendmailapps.txt

Now I want another way to retrieve all the sendmails found in the txt file as variables and be able to use rpm -e --nodeps to remove them all.

Any ideas please!....

Here's my solution:
rpm -qa | grep sendmail > output.tx
xargs -a output.txt rpm -e --nodeps

If anyone has better script or idea(s) please share it.

Thanks.[/b]
