I am looking to write a BASH script that uses virtualbox command line. I know when using vbox command line through a command prompt you have to first set the directory to where vboxmanage.exe is located (C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox).

Does anyone know if vbox command line works through the bash shell? If so, what would the script look like?

Thanks in advance!

Are you asking about using bash in cygwin, or on Linux? If in cygwin, I have no idea how the windows version of the vbox controls work...
Also, there are scripts out there to do various mundane things with vbox from bash (start/stop/pause, etc.). What do you want to do with it?
