Hi,

I use df -h to check the available discspace on my partitions.
When i'm copying or moving stuff I like to monitor the available space. I do this by entering the command from time to time.
Does anyone knwo if there is a script that loops this proces for me, like for example happens when you use the 'top' command.
The command is entered once and the information is then constantly refreshed.

I'm looking for a similar script that does this for df -h..

Thanks in advance.

Code:
watch 'df -h'

would do this for you. The default is a refresh every 2 seconds, but you can change that with the -n flag. i.e.

Code:
watch -n10 'df -h'

would refresh every 10 seconds.

Hope that helps!
