I need a script that I could boot up into linux and it would automaticly run a continous loop of Slides from a folder.

Please advise me if I could do this better another way or not.

Hiya Blevo90!

I think my google search turned up exactly what you were looking for. It's not a finished script, but it's a how-to. You (or I :) could probably write something fairly quickly that would load up X and launch a window manager (or no window manager at all!) with no tool bars, or with auto-hiding toolbars, and cycle your slides as the desktop background. I'll look at this more closely when I'm in front of a Linux box with X :)
