I just started playing with KDevelop - Scripting IDE , and have setup all the defaults for bash. It's pretty cool actually. You can store functions and code snippets for quick use in another script, you can setup templates, you can setup (i believe it's kwrite) to NOT line wrap, and for auto-display of line numbers, and alot more configurations are available too. One click and you can launch your script. I know alot of C and C++ and other languages make use of IDE's for code developement, but I hadn't seen it really for bash before. I'll be playing with this for a while now ;)

looks good, but do you have to configure it in any way to recognize bash?

cool, but I just use gedit as it is light and quick, but still has script highlighting.

The code snippets is the VERY best part so far for me ;)

One click and I have my if/then if/then/else and other stuff put right in without alot of typing ;)
